Ghostemane Post Card from emanemer's blog

Ghostemane Post Card

After a year of writing the new album, Whitney Houston and her management approached the major labels with the prospect of a deal. The singer and her album had already been doing well internationally, and in Russia especially, and a deal with a major record label would help Ghostemane reach more people and fill arenas. But what does this mean for her career? Let's take a look at some of the options.

ANTI-ICON

ANTI-ICON Ghostemanen postcard is an interesting album that combines the various genres of experimental music. The ethos of the band is dark and twisted, with synth textures hovering above filthy percussion and minor chords. Acoustic guitar melodies are distorted and drenched in dolorous rhythms. The album's title, meanwhile, is an apt description of Ghostemane's newest release.

The record's title track is aptly titled; 'The Insane and the Divine'. The track is about how our perception of ourselves and our world are shaped by our experiences of the past. 'The Immortal' and 'The Insane' are two separate styles of music that Ghostemane blends seamlessly. ANTI-ICON is a solid record for fans of industrial and experimental music.

Fear Network

In April 2019, Ghostemane will release the second installment of their fear-themed EP. The songs are penned by Ghostemane and produced by Arthur Rizk. In the EP, Ghostemane explores the themes of death, fear, and retribution. He uses these themes to convey the darkness and unease that surrounds us. Fear Network is a powerful, hypnotic experience that will leave you glued to your seat.

While it's hardcore punk, the EP is still quite short. The five-song EP is influenced by bands like Incendiary and Cruel Hand. The vocals are screamed in almost all songs, but at times incorporate rap flourishes into the mix. The band's style is a good fit for fans of heavy metal, as it combines industrial vocals with black metal fusion.

Opium

The Opium Ghostemane Post Card depicts the pre-earthquake opium den in San Francisco. As early as 1896, there were more than 300 opium dens in San Francisco alone. Opium is a potent and addictive drug extracted from the poppy plant and is consumed in the form of smoke. By the early 20th century, opium smoking was prevalent worldwide. Opium was harvested in Asia, and is found throughout the Americas, and even Europe.

"D(R)Ead"Ghostemane All Product

"D(R)Ead Ghostemano," the band's latest single, is a spooky synth lead and tremolo picking style. The song also features riffs from classic black metal albums. The song also features agitated flows and deep lo-fi beats. The song is accompanied by a sample of Black Sabbath's "Electric Funeral."

The song has been the subject of numerous music videos and has become an internet sensation due to its unorthodox production. "D(R)Ead"), one of Ghostemane's singles, has become an instant classic, thanks to its hypnotic quality. Ghostemane began as a member of hardcore punk bands, including The Sword and the Hatchet. In addition to his solo work, he has also collaborated with blink-182's Travis Barker.

Collaboration with Underoath

Underoath have unleashed a new single, "Cycle," from their upcoming album Voyeurist. The song features vocals by Ghostemane, and is the band's first collaboration with the singer. Voyeurist will be out on January 14 through Fearless Records. In addition to featuring a new collaboration, the new album will feature a super sick animated vinyl variant.

In an interview with The Noise, Underoath keyboardist Chris Dudley discussed the band's new album, writing for soundtracks, and collaborating with Ghostemane. The band is currently on tour with Voyeurist, following up on the mixed reviews of their last album, Erase Me. During the interview, Chris Dudley answered questions from The Noise readers.
