Antai
College of Economics and Management is the business school of Shanghai
Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China. It is ranked 1st in Financial
Times business school ranking for the Asia-Pacific region. The school
offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including a large
full-time MBA program and many executive education programs. Founded in
1918 as the School of Transportation Management and renamed the School
of Management in 1931, it was first of its kind in Asia. Today, Antai
College is recognized as Chinas highest ranked business school.

1. History.
History
of Antai College associated with his parents from Shanghai Jiao Tong
University. This University was founded in 1896 as Nanyang public school
by an Imperial decree of the Emperor Guangxu under the business and
telegraphs office of the Imperial government. In 1918, the name in the
post-revolutionary University was changed to NAN Yang College of Chiao
Tung and school started specializing in the field of transport and
communications. In the same year, the railway management Department of
Shanghai Jiao Tong University was established. In 1984, restoration of
the management name of the school of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, was
approved by the Ministry of education. In 1996, Aetna international
group from the United States have invested in School management that
allows it to grow to an influential regional organization. Finally, in
2000, the school changed its name to the Antai College of Economics and
management. Entering the 21st century, large investment has allowed the
school to expand its educational offerings, expand our international
coverage and to invest in state-of-the-art facilities in downtown
Shanghai.
2. Education.
Since 2011, Antai College is
accredited by the AACSB for Europe, EQUIS and AMBA, making it the only
triple accredited business schools in China. In 2018, the school offers a
wide range of students, postgraduates, doctoral candidates and training

Since
the school is quite selective, class sizes remain relatively small.
Every year, ASEM receives and sends more than 170 students,
post-graduate and MBA students for exchange. The school has also
developed over 90 English courses at various levels. In addition to
traditional long-term student exchanges, it also provides customized
Chinese study tours, summer programs, overseas internships, course
projects, and foreign study tours for members of the EMBA and business
education. The proportion of teachers with foreign Ph. D. s has
increased to 34%.
