By Air Max 270, Back in the 1980s, Nike teamed up with their Chinese factory to create a series of test shoes. Dubbed “The One Line,” the collection saw simple runners recontextualized with a large stripe instead of the more familiar Swoosh. Here, this design lives on thanks to the Air Force 1 “NAI-KE,” which pays homage to both the shoes and the brand’s relationship with China. The side of the shoe uses a White iconic stripe design, which replaces the Nike Swoosh logo.
Keeping with the traditional design of the “The One Line,” this Nike Air Force 1 “NAI-KE” is built from a mix of white leather and grey suede, with matching white tongues and Swoosh insignias. Elsewhere the pair is embellished with a special “Elevating Inner Peace Through Sports” slogan on the tongues and the titular “NAI-KE” dotted on the heel.Additional details include “Elevating Inner Peace Through Sports” on the inner tongues, and the word “Nike” dotted on the heel which aims to celebrate Nike’s deep tradition in China. For a slight pop of color we see the addition of blue on the upper eyelets, insole branding, and the stripe on the midsoles.
This Nike Air Force 1 Low UNC comes dressed in a"Blue Gale" color scheme utilizing a classic color blocking technique.Blue Gale and White make up for the entirety of this selection with white adorning the quarter panel, midsole and the vamp leaving blue responsible for the rest.Utilizing leather across the upper while perforations land on the panels and toe box. Blue Gale lands on the overlays and Nike branding while White is placed on the toe, panels, laces, liner, midsole and outsole to complete the look.
