Air Max 270, In 2023 we’re likely going to see Nike double down on its collaborations with music artists, especially since those types of projects tend to drive most interest and revenue. In the world of rap, figures like Travis Scott and Drake will likely push out more collaborative iterations, and now hip hop duo Run the Jewels will be getting tossed into the Swoosh’s collaborative cauldron. Our first look at the Run The Jewels x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration shows that it comes constructed out of consisting of a Sky Blue base with Pink Swooshes.
The Run The Jewels x Nike SB Dunk High comes dressed in a Black leather base paired with Fuchsia pony hair overlays, jewel-styled Swooshes, Yellow and Pink laces, Gold lace locks designed after their signature logo, and branding behind the tongue tags and insoles.Unlike its release sibling which is treated with pony hair overlays, this variation is mostly made with buttery suede panels that alternate between various shades of blue. A strong pop of pink pokes out through the Swooshes while subtle notes of yellow are positioned on the tongue branding. Run the Jewels’ signature “hand sign” emblem splits between the heels where you’d usually find Nike branding. Down below the kicks are formed with an icy blue tint.
The Air Jordan 12 Low Golf Cherry will feature the original color blocking with White leather on the upper and Red on the mudguard and part of the midsole.Premium leather uppers are presented with a clean white hue and come complemented by metallic silver eyelets and pebbled leather mudguards that are inundated with its titular shade. Shades of black are also found atop the Jumpman logos that are laid on the tongues, the interior liners, pull tabs and the GOLF-branded heels.Aside from its bottom, the pair is near identical to its lifestyle counterparts, incorporating many of the same materials, hardware, and embroidered branding. The sockliner and heel tab are tell-tale signs of its category, however, with “GOLF” text stamped next to the Jumpman logo.
