5 Cool Items From Classic World Of Warcraft

With classic World of Warcraft only a few months away, a lot of information about the old game that was lost or forgotten is appearing again. This was the genesis of Azeroth, and programmers and writers were still ironing out the kinks. A few items appeared that were fun to use and looked cool but offered almost no improvement to your character. Remember when Shaman gear would drop in an Alliance raid or Paladin gear for Horde? Spirit stats for Warlocks? All those fun memories will come flooding back with this list of neat but useless stuff in classic World of Warcraft. To get more news about buy WoW Classic gold, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

This humble item was of grey quality, offered no buffs or extra stats, could only be used by one class, gave no benefits, and did literally nothing for your character beyond putting a red piece of cloth on their face... and every Rogue had to have one. The Defias Mask was a drop from a small group of hostile pirates and thieves that lived in the northern part of Westfall. You could get it as early as level 8 as long as you killed enough of them to get a lucky drop, but you had to be level 15 to wear it. Not only that, it was Bind on Pickup, so you couldn't buy them in the auction house. That was why the Mask was such a coveted and recognizable clothing item. The only way you could get it was by, well, getting it!

To add yet another layer to this, sometimes the journey to just find the area was an achievement itself. Alliance players might have to travel for a bit, but at least it was through friendly territory. The best Horde players could do was hike north along the coast of Stranglethorn Vale and sneak through miles of hostile lands and high-level areas. At level 15. A Horde player with a Defias Mask no doubt had to do several corpse runs just to get to Westfall, so Horde Rogues got even more respect for this way cool but totally useless badge of honor.

A casting class that carries a sword does seem pretty cool, but if they can't wear anything but cloth, then you have to avoid melee damage, and it stops making any sense. Warlocks are spellcasters, but they can and do carry swords, one of the more endearing quirks of the class. An item of white quality that a Warlock could get fairly early in the game, at level 28, and it looked great at first. Young Warlocks loved this thing, and why not? You could make it yourself, and look, it has a fire damage buff on it! Yeah, that's great, but you only have one fire spell at this level, and most of that buff is only for melee damage. A silly mistake or a bad joke? Likely some of both.

WoW Classic ZG release date

The WoW Classic ZG content is being released today, April 15, as part of a new Phase 4 launch. Blizzard announced its plans earlier this month and have even revealed what time fans can expect everything to unlock. And the good news is that World of Warcraft gamers can expect a few other rewards thrown into today’s update. To get more news about wow classic gold buy, you can visit lootwowgold official website.

New WoW Classic Phase 4 content will be released on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Blizzard has announced that the WoW Classic ZG release time has been set for 3pm PST, in the United States.

For gamers in the UK, this will mean a late launch for the new Phase 4 content. Taking into account the time difference, gamers across the pond can expect the new WoW Classic Zul’Gurub update to go live at around 11pm, BST.

As ever, gamers should be ready for delays and changes to update schedules, especially during current world events.

Many companies have been timing their updates differently to make sure to alleviate the extra server strain currently being experienced.

And as mentioned above, the Zul'Gurub 20-man raid isn’t the only new thing being added to WoW Classic today.

On top of the Zul’Gurub raid, World of Warcraft gamers will also get access to the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza, and Dragons of Nightmare event.

Details on the new content coming to World of Warcraft can be found below, courtesy of Blizzard.

Top 10 rarest items in World of Warcraft Classic

World of Warcraft Classic has a ton of rare items that you’re unlikely to see unless you’re very lucky. And by lucky I mean you can farm these items for months on end without being able to acquire them. And yet, that’s exactly why so many players go out of their way to try and get their hands on them. To get more news about buy gold wow classic, you can visit lootwowgold official website.
If you’re one of those players, you came to the right place because we’ve put together a list of the rarest WoW Classic items, complete with their location and drop chance (where applicable).
Most of the rarest items and World of Warcraft Classic are weapons and other pieces of gear. But since some of those aren’t very useful unless you’re playing a certain class or spec, we figured we should spice things up by also adding a few rare mounts and some other interesting items into the mix. That way, you can be sure that you’ll find a little something for everybody here.
10. Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker

You know it, you love it, but you’re probably also sick of hearing about it. We’re of course talking about Thunderfury.
Unlike all the other entries on our list, Thunderfury doesn’t drop from anywhere and instead needs to be crafted by the player. WoW Classic players have a much deeper knowledge of the game compared to Vanilla players, which is why these days the weapon isn’t quite as rare as it used to be. Hence, why it’s only at number 10 on our list. However, this is still a very rare item nevertheless and arguably the most sought-after of the rarest items in World of Warcraft Classic given the extreme amount of effort needed to craft it.

9. Swift Zulian Tiger

If you’re coming to WoW Classic after first playing retail you’re probably going to be shocked by the low amount of mounts available in the game. Class mounts aside, there is only a small handful that you can collect from other sources. A portion of those can be used exclusively in Ahn’Qiraj. The others are all very rare, including the iconic Swift Zulian Tiger.
This mount comes from High Priest Thekal in Zul’Gurub and has about a 0.6% chance to drop. That may seem pretty low but it’s actually not too bad compared to the remaining items on our list.

8. Enchant Weapon – Spell Power

This extremely powerful formula drops from multiple sources so it may not seem that rare compared to other items. However, all those sources are bosses inside Molten Core, and defeating them requires you to go in with a pretty decent party. Figuring out the exact drop chance for this one is a bit tricky but it’s believed to be anywhere between 0.2% and 0.8%. Add to that the fact that you’re probably in a full 40-man raid with a lot of people that need it if it does happen to drop, and it’s easy to see why this is one of the rarest items in World of Warcraft Classic.

7. Ironfoe

Ironfoe is an epic one-handed mace that drops from Emperor Dagran Thaurissan in Blackrock Depths. Defeating the boss isn’t particularly difficult if you’re going in with a good party. However, BRD is one of the longest and most tedious dungeons ever created by Blizzard, and farming is a true test of patience. It can be worth it, though, as the mace has a very powerful effect that gives it a chance on hit to grant two extra attacks on your next swing. Unfortunately, the drop chance is estimated to be between 0.18% and 0.59%, so getting this mace requires a lot of luck.

6. The 1 Ring

The 1 Ring is a reference to The Lord of the Rings and is a memorable item from back in the days of Vanilla. Of course, that also makes it a pretty popular item in WoW Classic as well. The ring has a drop chance of around 0.05% and drops while fishing in any major city. The stats are pretty bad so you probably don’t want to use it unless you’re running a low-level twink. That said, it is a great item for role-playing purposes.

5. Pendulum of Doom

Next up on our list of rarest WoW Classic items is the Pendulum of Doom, a level 39 axe that drops from trash mobs in Uldaman. If you’ve got the money to spare, you can actually just buy WoW gold Classic and get the item the easy way from the auction house. Alternatively, you can grind mobs in Uldaman until it drops but that may take you a while since the drop chance is anywhere between 0.02% and 0.06%.

4. Spellshock Leggings

This is the most obscure of the rarest items in World of Warcraft Classic and you’re probably not going to get much use out of it unless you’re a spell caster and manage to acquire it at around level 45. This is because the Spellshock Leggings are an ultra rare item from Zul’Farrak. The stats are decent for a 45-ish level cloth user, but the drop chance is only around 0.02%, so it’s not worth going after if you’re already max level.

3. Deathcharger’s Reins

If you’re an avid mount collector I’m sure you’re already very familiar with this one. The Deathcharger’s Reins is a very rare item that drops from Baron Rivendare, the final boss in Stratholme. Players can use this item to acquire Rivendare’s Deathcharger, a skeletal warhorse that’s particularly valuable if you’re playing on the Alliance side. While the drop chance was eventually buffed to 1% on retail, in WoW Classic the boss only has a 0.02% chance to drop the mount.

2. Parrot Cage (Hyacinth Macaw)

The Hyacinth Macaw is the ultimate status symbol for any avid collector of vanity items in World of Warcraft Classic. The parrot cage that contains the pet drops from Bloodsail pirates found around Stranglethorn Vale so you can technically grind this endlessly. However, the drop chance is only 0.01% or less so you’ll likely need to spend an ungodly amount of time in order to acquire this item.

1. Teebu’s Blazing Longsword

We end our list of rarest items in World of Warcraft Classic with none other than Teebu’s Blazing Longsword. Unlike some of the other gear items on the list, this sword is actually quite powerful for max level characters. Hemo Rogues, in particular. This incredibly rare sword can drop from pretty much any level 60+ mobs in the game but the drop chance is unknown and very few people in the history of World of Warcraft have ever been able to get their hands on it. The good news is that Teebu’s Blazing Longsword is a BoE item that can be purchased from the auction house or sites like lootwowgold. The bad news is that it costs an absolute fortune because of its rarity. Unless you’re the one selling it, of course.

The Chicago City Council voted Wednesday to ban the sale of flavored vaping products in the city. The measure passed by a vote of 46-4.To get more news about Cheap Vape Deals, you can visit urvapin official website.

Critics have said flavored vaping products are marketed to young people. »Please don’t hide behind vaping is a cessation; they’re targeting our children, and it will cost lives, » 19th Ward Alderman Matt O’Shea said.

« With flavors like candy and chocolate, these products are designed to entice youth, and we as a City have a responsibility to do everything we can to prevent that from happening, » Lightfoot said in a statement. « This ordinance is an important step, but more must be done to protect our young people’s health from vaping and the tobacco industry’s efforts to have them to develop life-threatening habits. »

The ordinance specifically targets the taste or aroma of things like menthol, mint, wintergreen, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, candy or dessert.

Lightfoot’s office said studies show 80% of youth tobacco users started with a flavored product.

« I congratulate the City Council for addressing flavors comprehensively in this vape-focused ordinance, rather than carving out specific flavors, » Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady said. « And I look forward to seeing this body take this same comprehensive approach to flavors in the future, as together we address combustible products and work to improve the health and life expectancy of all Chicagoans. »Some opponents said the city can’t afford to lose any revenue and people can cross over the border to buy them.

« At a time when we’re looking at anywhere between a $1.2 and 1.5 billion deficit, we should be doing everything we can to keep as much revenue in the city of Chicago, » 41st Ward Alderman Anthony Napolitano said.

« We should not trade off the health of young people for the budget, » 48th Ward Alderman Harry Osterman said. »An ounce of prevention can be a pound of cure later on, » 16th Ward Alderman Stephanie Coleman said. »As a business owner from between borders, Chicago, between suburbs, it’s really unfair if people can go down the street, just grab them from two blocks down, and they can’t have them over here in their neighborhood, » said Shayef Abdulla, co-owner of Hookah Kings.

The ban does not address flavored tobacco products, and the decision is being called unfair and hypocritical. There had been discussion about also banning menthol cigarettes and e-cigarettes, and the city is still pursuing that.

Lightfoot said her father was a long-time smoker and suffered the effects. She acknowledged some compromises were necessary.

« The tobacco industry is looking for his next generation of people who are addicted to nicotine, and we as a city have a responsibility to do everything that we can to keep that from happening, » Lightfoot said after the council meeting.

A pair of Michael Jordan’s game-worn sneakers sold for $615,000 US ($A860,000) Christie’s auction house said Thursday, shattering a record set just months ago by the sale of another pair of the basketball legend’s shoes. To get more news about cheap air jordan shoes free shipping, you can visit nkspaces official website.

The sneakers were a pair of Air Jordan 1 Highs that the NBA megastar wore during a 1985 exhibition match in Italy when he dunked the ball so hard it shattered the glass backboard.

“This is the original shoe with an actual piece of the backboard, a piece of glass, in the sole of the shoe,” said Caitlin Donovan, head of handbag and sneaker sales at Christie’s — which organised the auction with Stadium Goods.Jordan racked up 30 points while wearing the size 13.5 shoes, which are in the red and black colours of his Chicago Bulls team.

Though the sale broke the record set in May when a pair of Air Jordan 1’s sold for $560,000, the new auction landed below the estimated range of $650,000 and $850,000 (all figures USD).

The record setting sales highlight the soaring market value of objects identified with the retired basketball superstar since the release of “The Last Dance,” an ESPN/Netflix documentary that chronicles the saga of Jordan and his Chicago Bulls.

It also confirms that the lowly sneaker now has a place of pride in the world of wealthy collectors alongside more traditional collectibles.
A pair of game-worn Michael Jordan shoes just shattered the record for most expensive sneakers ever sold at auction—which is particularly appropriate given that he was wearing them when he shattered a backboard in 1985. (In fact, they still have a piece of glass lodged in the sole.)To get more news about china cheap jordans free shipping, you can visit nkspaces official website.

Estimated to go for between $650,000 and $850,000, the black, white, and red Air Jordan 1’s sold for $615,000 at Christie’s Original Air online sale last Thursday. They were worn by Jordan during an exhibition game held in Trieste, Italy, in the summer of 1985. They didn’t carry a guarantee.
“This sale once again confirms that sneakers are cultural artifacts and deserve to be listed alongside other luxury items in the collectibles marketplace,” said John McPheters, co-CEO of Stadium Goods, which partnered with Christie’s for the sale, in a statement.

Up until now, Christie’s biggest rival, Sotheby’s, had seemingly cornered the shoe game. Sotheby’s hosted its first dedicated sneaker auction in July 2019, and was responsible for setting the previous single lot record when it sold another pair of ‘85 Air Jordans for $560,000—more than three times the kicks’ high estimate—in May.

Now, it seems as if other auction houses have caught on to the potential of this new territory.

Indeed, Christie’s first foray into sneaker auctions proved to be a hit, bringing in $931,875 in total, with only two of the 11 lots failing to find a buyer. Perhaps more important to the auction house, though, was the fact that more than 70 percent of registered bidders were new to the auction house.

Caitlin Donovan, Christie’s head of sale and vice president of handbags and accessories, noted the amount of attention the sale garnered online, explaining that it was “among the highest attended online events Christie’s has hosted since lockdown.”This highly-curated sale marks Christie’s entry into a new collecting category that merges sports’ history, art, fashion, and contemporary lifestyle,” Donovan said in a statement. “What’s special about this collecting area is that it appeals to a multitude of audiences, seasoned Christie’s clients and new and emerging collectors alike, with these objects viewed all at once as a luxury item, piece of art, and part of pop-culture and sports’ history.”

Other highlights from the “Original Air” sale include a pair of the Air Jordan 7s that Jordan wore during the gold medal game of the 1992 “Dream Team” Olympics, which brought in $112,500; and a pair of 1985 Air Jordan 1 TYPS, which took in an additional $62,500.
A pair of Michael Jordan's game-worn shoes from 1985 sold for more than three times the estimated auction price on Sunday, breaking the world auction record for sneakers, according to Sotheby's.To get more news about cheap jordans free shipping, you can visit nkspaces official website.

Ten bidders from across the globe competed for the basketball legend's autographed Nike Air Jordan 1 shoes before the online auction closed at $560,000, the auction house said in a news release.

"Following a bidding war which drove the value up by US $300,000 within the final twenty minutes of the sale, the pair achieved more than 3.5x their $150,000 high estimate," Sotheby's said.

The bidders spanned six countries across four continents, according to the auction house.

The sale breaks the world auction record for a pair of sneakers, set last year by Sotheby's auction of the Nike "Moon Shoe" for $437,500. The waffle-soled running shoes, one of 12 pairs ever made, were designed by Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman for the 1972 Olympic Trials.

The Nike Air Jordan 1s were made exclusively for Jordan, and featured red laces instead of black and white.

"Produced between February to April 1985, Jordan wore the present pair of Air Jordan 1s during an early, pivotal point of his career and thus catapulted the sneaker's popularity," Sotheby's said. "Wearing mismatched shoes most of his career, the pair is in a size 13 (left shoe) and a 13.5 (right shoe)."

The right shoe features Jordan's signature in permanent marker.Nike also didn't even offer mid-top sneakers to the public then -- only highs and lows, according to Sotheby's.

"Jordan wore Air Jordan 1s until October 29, 1985, when he broke his foot and subsequently took off 64 games during his second season while healing," Sotheby's said. "He wore modified versions of the Air Jordan 1 upon his return to the game."

The auction coincided with the final episode of "The Last Dance," the ESPN docuseries about Jordan and the Chicago Bulls NBA dynasty.

The debut of the 10-part series, which aired in April, averaged 6.1 million viewers, the network said in a statement. That makes "The Last Dance" the most-viewed ESPN documentary ever.

Sotheby's said the shoe sale "shows not only the incredible appeal of Michael Jordan as one of the most recognizable and legendary athletes of all time, but also that sneaker collecting is truly a global and growing market."

According to Stockx, a website where people can buy and sell sneakers and streetwear, between January 1 and the premiere of the series on April 18, 217 pairs of the 2015 Air Jordan 1 'Chicago' retro trainer were sold for an average price of $925.
